Slide Projectors
A slide projector is a portable image display device that is widely used to view photographic slides. It was the simplest and most popular type of projector used during the 1950s and the 1960s, when families and friends would gather to view slide images.

Generally, a slide projector has the following main components:
- a fan-cooled electric light bulb
- a reflector and a condensing lens that were designed to direct the light to the slide
- a slide holder, and
- a focusing lens.
There are advanced models of slide projectors available today. Most of these new inventions have small built-in screens so that you can view the slide instantly and anywhere. Many of the slide projectors that you can also find in the market have an auto focus feature, timers and interchangeable lens capability.
